Hillsdale College Scores High In Princeton Review

Hillsdale College has been named one of the top colleges nationwide, according to The Princeton Review’s 2026 rankings. The rankings, based on a survey of 170,000 students, highlight the college’s strengths in academics and student life.

Hillsdale ranked in the top ten in nine subcategories and in the top 20 in 12 related to student experience and academics. Notably, Hillsdale was ranked second in the nation for “Most Religious Students” and “Most Engaged in Community Service.” It also ranked third for “Students Who Love Their Colleges,” fifth for “Happiest Students,” and sixth for “Friendliest Students.”

Other high rankings included second for “Most Politically Conservative Students,” eighth for “Best College Radio Station,” ninth for “Best-Run Colleges,” and 11th for “Best Student Support and Counseling Services.”

Provost Christopher VanOrman said Hillsdale seeks to “foster a lively and rigorous academic culture that develops the minds and improves the hearts of our students.”
