State Officials Promote Preparedness

Michigan officials are emphasizing the importance of emergency preparedness as communities across the state recover from severe weather events over the past several months.

September is Preparedness Month, and the Michigan State Police and other agencies are promoting the theme “Preparedness Starts at Home.”

He suggests creating go-kits with animal supplies and microchipping animals.
