Authorities are investigating a Tuesday afternoon crash in Southern Jackson County that claimed the life of a Jonesville woman.
The crash occurred around 2:15 pm at the intersection of Moscow and Horton Roads.
Authorities said a Jonesville woman, identified as 41-year-old, Rhiannon Austin was attempting to pass a truck and trailer when she collided with an oncoming vehicle and the truck that she was attempting to pass.
The woman’s vehicle left the road and overturned.
Traffic was backed up for some time as the scene was investigated.
