The impact of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk is echoing across the nation.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation and concern from conservatives and liberals alike.
Authorities continue searching for the shooter, who is believed to have fired from a rooftop during Kirk’s speech at Utah Valley University.
Hillsdale College President Larry Arnn issued comments Wednesday evening, saying he is “Shocked and saddened by the murder.” Arnn said Kirk, the co-founder of the youth activist group Turning Point USA, was his friend.
The two met when Kirk was 19—Arnn called him a sharp young man, full of questions.
