Authorities are seeking the driver of a pickup truck that left the scene of a motorcycle crash, leaving a woman with serious injuries early Sunday morning.
According to the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 12:05 am to the intersection of South Hillsdale Road and East Bear Lake Road.
They say 43-year-old Tiana Lowe, of Camden, was riding northbound on a motorcycle when she was struck by a pickup truck turning east onto Bear Lake Road.
The driver of the pickup left the scene.
Lowe suffered a head injury and was transported to Hillsdale Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit Ambulance. There’s no word on her condition.
The Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on a dark colored Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon with bright green lettering on it. The vehicle is also missing its passenger-side taillight.
