A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle, north of Coldwater, left a Litchfield man seriously injured Sunday afternoon.
Deputies from the Branch County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. to the intersection of Jonesville Road and Fiske Road.
Authorities say a semi-truck driven by a 57-year-old woman from Florida was northbound when it failed to stop at the intersection.
The truck collided with a westbound Honda CR-V driven by a 43-year-old man from Litchfield.
The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries and was transported to Borgess Hospital for treatment. There’s no word on his condition.
Deputies were assisted by the Coldwater Fire Department and Lifecare Ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
