There’s no word on what caused a fire that damaged a home in the village of Waldron on Saturday night.
Wright-Waldron firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of Main Street at 6:48 pm.
Chief Dennis McNett tells WCSR News that heavy smoke and flames were coming from the two-story home when crews arrived.
They called for assistance from the Morenci & Alvordton, Ohio, fire departments; Hillsdale City brought the air tank trailer.
McNett said there were no injuries. The home was heavily damaged, making it difficult to determine the cause of the blaze.
A state fire investigator will be on the scene today to take a closer look.
Crews cleared the scene around 9:00 pm.
