No Contest Plea In Jonesville School Pickup Incident

A Somerset Center woman faces a December sentencing hearing in connection with an incident at Jonesville Elementary School last month.
37-year-old Stephanie Stidham was arrested on September 30th, when school staff called 9-1-1 after detecting the smell of alcohol on her, as she picked up students.
She drove across the lawn to avoid police before becoming blocked in by a bus loaded with students.
Stidham appeared for a preliminary exam in Hillsdale County Circuit Court on Monday, where she pleaded no contest to charges that include fleeing & eluding police, assaulting an officer, operating intoxicated, and having an open container in a vehicle.
She’s scheduled for sentencing on December 1st.
