The Quincy Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run involving a Quincy Community School bus that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Police said no injuries were reported among students or anyone on the bus, in the crash that occurred around 3:20 pm on Bowen Lane.
Authorities initially sought public information to identify the at-fault vehicle or driver.
In an update issued late Tuesday, police confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle has since contacted law enforcement.
No other details about the incident have been released, as the investigation continues.
Tuesday’s incident was the second Branch County incident involving a school bus in the past week.
A Pansophia Academy bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash on October 16th. One student and three occupants of another vehicle sustained minor injuries in that crash.
