As operators of the Share The Warmth overnight shelter prepare to open for the season, they’re continuing to seek volunteers and donations to support their mission.
Share The Warmth operates out of SOZO Church on Manning Street. It’ll open for the season on Saturday.
Director Penny Myers recently addressed the Hillsdale City Council.
She said the shelter is entering its eighth year in operation.
Share The Warmth operates from November 1st through the end of April.
Myers said volunteers are a big part of the organization’s mission.
The shelter is also in constant need of staples for preparing food and doing laundry.
