An online fundraiser has been set up to help the family of an Osseo man who was killed in a four-vehicle traffic crash in Washtenaw County last week.
43-year-old Shane Burleson, of Osseo, was killed Friday, when the pickup truck he was driving was struck head-on by a pickup truck driven by a Brooklyn man who was passing a semi on US 12 near Saline. The Brooklyn man also died at the scene.
Burleson’s wife, Chrissy, was critically injured. She remains hospitalized.
Friends of the Burleson’s have set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for funeral expenses and medical bills.
The crash, which also critically injured a Tecumseh woman, remains under investigation by Michigan State Police.
