A Manitou Beach man faces up to four years in prison in connection with a child pornography investigation in Lenawee County.
According to online court records, 53-year-old Harold Leroy Knight, of Manitou Beach, pleaded guilty earlier this week to one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
In exchange for the plea, two additional counts of possession of child pornography, along with one count of using a computer to commit a crime, will be dismissed.
An investigation by the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Unit led to Knight’s arrest back in March.
The investigation also involved the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
It was prompted by a report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Knight is scheduled to be sentenced on January 8th.
