Pretrial Hearing Set In 2020 Election Case

Former Adams Township Clerk Stephanie Scott and her attorney, Stefanie Junttila have been arraigned on felony charges for allegedly allowing unauthorized access to voter data. Scott and Junttila are accused of giving an unauthorized computer examiner access to voter data related to the 2020 General Election. Both were arraigned in Hillsdale County Circuit Court Monday.  Scott faces charges of using a computer to commit a crime, unauthorized computer access, conspiracy, and misconduct in office. She also faces a misdemeanor charge for disobeying an order from the Secretary of State. Junttila is charged with using a computer to commit a crime, unauthorized computer access, and conspiracy. Pretrial hearings for Scott & Junttila are set for December 22nd in Hillsdale County Circuit Court. The pair has maintained their innocence throughout a lengthy legal battle that began when the charges were filed back in May of 2024 by the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.
