Hillsdale Hospital will host a blood drive next week.
The drive will be held on December 18th, from 10:00 am to 4:00, at Hillsdale United Brethren Church.
The drive aims to avoid a critical blood shortage, which often occurs during the winter months when donations decline.

Walk-in donors will also be accepted.
Donated blood is used to treat accident and trauma patients, those with certain chronic illnesses, and surgery patients.
One donor can save as many as three lives with a single donation.
