Winter officially arrived on Sunday. With that in mind, a local homeless shelter has an ongoing need for staple items used in its everyday operation.
Share The Warmth of Hillsdale County offers an overnight shelter for Hillsdale County’s unhoused population.
The shelter, which is in its eighth year, operates out of SOZO Church on Manning Street in downtown Hillsdale.
Volunteers are a big part of the organization’s mission.
The shelter is also in constant need of general staples for preparing food, doing laundry and other functions.
Needed items include kleenex, paper towels, disposal drink cups, as well as other items.
