This year set a record for lottery winnings in Michigan. The Michigan Lottery reports that in 2025, 51 Michigan residents became millionaires through lottery games. The winners included a Hillsdale County Man who purchased a $6-million winning ticket in Somerset Center last month.
The largest prize was a Lotto 47 jackpot of over $32, won on December 13th, with the winning ticket sold in suburban Detroit. Overall, Michigan lottery players won a total of $93 million in 2025.
