Hillsdale Hospital Releases Annual Report

Hillsdale Hospital has released its 2025 Annual Report, detailing advancements and service expansions during the fiscal year ending June 30th, 2025. 

Key statistics from the report reveal a busy year. The hospital recorded 1,515 acute care admissions, 336 in its psychiatric unit, and 300 admissions in the skilled nursing facility. 

The medical team delivered 382 babies and provided 2,081 home care visits. 

Outpatient visits totaled 105,329, with 19,240 visits to the emergency room.

Surgical services saw significant growth, with 6,213 procedures performed in Fiscal Year ‘25; That’s a 128% increase from the previous year. 

The year’s growth included the launch of Hillsdale Podiatry and the introduction of tele-neurology services. Innovative procedures in neurosurgery and urology were also introduced, including total cervical disc replacements and the UroLift™ system.

The hospital invested $2.2 million in new technology and equipment, including a robotic-assisted neurosurgery platform and new PET/CT technology. 

The hospital’s economic impact on the region was estimated at over $43.2 million.

Hillsdale Hospital President and CEO Jeremiah J. Hodshire, said the report showcases how the hospital has evolved to meet community needs, celebrating accomplishments despite the challenges in a rural healthcare setting.
