
A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for Branch and Hillsdale Counties, effective from 1:00 pm Monday until 9:00 am Tuesday.
Temperatures will fall through the day Monday, dropping to near zero by early evening.
Gusty winds will make it feel much colder.
The National Weather Service is warning of dangerously cold wind chills, expected to reach as low as 15 to 20 degrees below zero.
Temperatures that low could lead to hypothermia and frostbite very quickly if proper precautions are not taken. Listeners who are headed outdoors are advised to dress in layers and cover any exposed skin
Use caution when traveling and make sure you have an emergency kit in your car, including a spare blanket.
