The Sauk, Hillsdale County’s community theater, is looking for about 30 actors to take part in its annual presentation of Sauk Shorts.

There will also be a special 10-minute musical called “The Almost In-Laws,” directed by Sauk Executive Director Trinity Bird.
Bird said “Sauk Shorts” is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to try acting without a big-time commitment.
Roles are available for men, women, teens, and anyone of acting age. No experience is needed. Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 10 at the Sauk Theatre, located at 240 E. Chicago St. in Jonesville. Actors will read from the scripts, and those auditioning for the musical should prepare a short Broadway song with sheet music.
Rehearsals start February 16th, with shows running from March 19th through the 22nd.
