Officials with the Hillsdale County Community Foundation say now is the time for college-bound students to start thinking about financial aid for next year.
The foundation has announced that scholarship books and applications are now available through high school guidance counselors and the foundation office.
They can also be downloaded from the foundation website at abouthccf.org.
March 1st is the deadline to hand in your application.
The Community Foundation offers a large number of scholarships for traditional and non-traditional students.
Last year, the Foundation awarded more than 250 scholarships, totalling more than $315,000.
