With warmer temperatures in the forecast for the coming week, Hillsdale County Road Commission officials have announced that they’ll implement frost laws beginning Monday at 6:00 am.
As the ground thaws, road beds are left vulnerable to damage from heavy vehicles.
Seasonal Weight and Speed Restrictions–also known as Frost Laws–are aimed at reducing damage to roads.
Once they’re implemented, trucks are required to reduce their speed and weight–on most county roads, with the exception of about 50 miles of All-Season roads.
Frost Laws will also be implemented in Branch County beginning Monday morning.
