Opening statements got underway this morning in the Lenawee County murder trial of Dale Warner.
He is accused of killing his wife, Dee Warner, who disappeared from their home in Franklin Township in April of 2021.
Her remains were found in August 2024, sealed inside an anhydrous ammonia tank on Dale’s property.
Prosecutors began laying out their case just after 10:00 am.
The trial is expected to be a lengthy one.
A jury was seated earlier this week, following a two-week process that involved the questioning of a large number of potential jurors about their knowledge of the case, opinions, and possible conflicts.
