The murder trial of Dale Warner, who is accused of killing his wife, Dee Warner, resumed Tuesday for its 12th day.
Dee, 52, went missing from her Lenawee County home in April 2021. Her body was found welded inside an anhydrous tank in August 2024 on property owned by Dale, who faces charges of murder and evidence tampering.
During the trial, witnesses described Dee’s last days and the search for her.
Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy, testified that he offered a reward for her remains and that he believed Dee would not leave her children without explanation. Hardy also said he questioned Dale’s behavior after Dee’s disappearance.
Other witnesses included Dale’s ex-wife, Julie Bock, and a farm manager, Todd Neyrinck, who testified to Dee’s unusual behavior shortly before her disappearance.
The judge denied a motion to dismiss the case, citing sufficient evidence to continue.
Closing arguments are expected to begin on Thursday.
