Hillsdale College will host an open house on Saturday, at its new Nimrod Complex, which is part of the Halter Shooting Sports Center. The event offers a chance to explore the state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, learn about memberships, and participate in raffles and giveaways. The new facility features 60 indoor 10-meter precision lanes, 20 archery lanes, 24 smallbore lanes for indoor and outdoor shooting, and 12 covered pistol lanes. There is also a classroom for CPL and college courses, seating for 300, team storage, and a mezzanine viewing area overlooking the ranges. The open house runs 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Halter Shooting Sports Education Center, at 4390 Bankers Road in Hillsdale. WCSR will broadcast on location Saturday. The center, which opened in 2008, covers 125 acres and includes several shooting ranges, a lodge, cottages, and the home of the USA Shooting National Team since 2019. It hosts national competitions, camps, and classes to promote shooting sports.
