
Authorities say a Fort Wayne, Indiana, woman was injured in a Monday evening traffic crash south of Quincy.
Branch County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of South Ray Quincy Road around 5:00 p.m.
They say a 48-year-old Fort Wayne woman was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle. The car hit a utility pole, snapping it in half.
The driver was taken to Cameron Hospital in Angola, Indiana, by LifeCare Ambulance.
Deputies say she’s being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Accident investigators determined the woman may have had a medical issue in the moments leading up to the crash.
Deputies were assisted by the Fremont, Indiana, Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance.
