There’s just shy of a month left for candidates to file to run for a seat on the Hillsdale City Council.
Voters in the City will elect a Mayor and one council member in each of the four wards in November.
With more than half of the voting seats up for election, the balance of power on the council could be significantly swayed.
April 21st is the deadline to file as a candidate for a seat.
If more than two candidates file for any position, a runoff election would be held in August, with two candidates for that seat moving on to November.
Nominating petitions are available at the Clerk’s office, on the first floor of City Hall.
