Listeners are invited to the premiere, this evening, of a documentary about the man who directed the beloved Holiday Classic “A Christmas Story.”
Long before directing the cherished film, Clark was a student and football player at Hillsdale College.
A new student-produced documentary, titled “A Bob Clark Story,” explores how his experience at the college helped launch his career as one of America’s legendary film directors.
The premiere screening will take place at 7:00 pm this evening in Hillsdale College’s Plaster Auditorium. Admission is free to the public.
The documentary was produced by Hillsdale College students Adriana Azarian, Quinn Delamater, Savana Greb, Christina Lewis, Sami Mandel, Lonán Mooney, Grace Novak, and Jamie Parsons. Their work sheds light on the connection between the small-town campus and a major cinematic icon.
