
Michigan State Police are investigating after a 39-year-old Osseo woman was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound on Wednesday night.
Troopers from the Jackson Post were called to a residence in the 2600 block of Greenly Street, just before 11:00 pm.
Authorities have not released the woman’s name, as the investigation continues.
Police said there was no immediate threat to the public.

Michigan State Police have released more information in their investigation into the shooting death of a 39-year-old Osseo woman late Wednesday night. Troopers from the Jackson Post responded to a residence in the 2600 block of Greenly Street after 11:00 pm. According to MSP detectives, the woman was inside a Ford Ranger pickup truck with a 37-year-old Osseo man at the time a handgun discharged. Police said there is no immediate threat to the public. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the discharge of the weapon.
