The Hillsdale Sheriff’s Department will be featuring a boater’s safety class on June 13 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the South Hillsdale Community Center, 18180 W. Territorial Road, Camden, MI. The class is free, but you must pre-register. Organizers ask that you arrive on-site by 8:30am on Saturday to get signed up. Lunch will be provided by the Lake Diane Property Owners’ Association. The class is designed for anyone born after June 30, 1996, who wishes to drive a boat or anyone born after December 31, 1978, who wishes to drive a jetski. Participants will learn about boating safety, rules, and regulations. Organizers recommend that participants be at least 12 years old. For more information, call Sgt.
