A Jonesville man is lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail, as he awaits arraignment on assault and weapons charges stemming from an apparent domestic incident.
77-year-old Thomas Bremner is being held on two counts of felonious assault, along with one count of reckless discharge of a firearm in the Monday incident.
He was arrested by Michigan State Police, who were responding to a domestic incident involving a gun, and reports that Bremner fired a weapon inside a home.
He’s scheduled for a Wednesday arraignment in Hillsdale County District Court.
