Wright Township officials will hold a special informational meeting at 7:30 this evening to answer questions about an upcoming Roads and Bridges Millage.
The meeting will take place at 112 E. Center St. in Waldron.
The millage proposal will appear on the August 4th ballot. Township officials have warned that current funding for local roads and bridges is projected to run out at the end of the fiscal year.
Supporters say the ballot measure will give residents the opportunity to decide how the community funds future road maintenance and repairs.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting and vote in the upcoming election.
In a statement announcing tonight’s information session, township officials urged residents to become informed and make their voices heard.
Voters with questions about the election can contact the Wright Township Clerk at 517-268-6496.
