Downtown Hillsdale will come alive Saturday, as Hillsdale Renaissance hosts its annual Summer Block Party.
The free, family-friendly event runs from 4:00 to 8:00 pm around North Howell Street and the Hillsdale County Court House.
Organizers will close off portions of Howell Street to accommodate live music, bouncy houses, an art walk, and other activities.
Food trucks will line the street, offering Mexican dishes, barbecue, and specialty drinks. A live goat petting zoo and ice cream station will also be part of the fun
The Hillsdale Rotary Club plans to hold a cash raffle during the evening festivities.
Organizers say the event is aimed at bringing residents of all ages to gather, supporting small businesses, and enjoying an evening in the heart of the community.
