The Hillsdale City Planning Commission voted unanimously on Wednesday to approve a final site plan for a new Culver’s restaurant.
The restaurant will be located near Meijer at 3741 West Carleton Road.
The city has seen significant commercial growth in recent years, with the addition of Meijer, Aldi, Marshall’s, and the return of KFC.
Construction of the restaurant is expected to begin later this year.
Culver’s is a Wisconsin-based company, known for its “ButterBurgers” and fresh frozen custard.
The company operates more than 900 locations across the U.S. The nearest locations include Coldwater, Jackson, and Angola, Indiana.
