Consumers Energy crews were working to restore power to a number of local customers on Tuesday, after thunderstorms brought down tree limbs and power lines on Monday afternoon.
Fewer than 200 customers remain offline in Hillsdale County as of this morning. The largest outages were in Jefferson and Ransom Township.
However, there were scattered outages in other parts of the county as well.
Power was expected to be restored to most local Consumers Energy customers by early afternoon Tuesday.
