A popular Wisconsin-based fast-food chain may soon call Hillsdale home.
The Hillsdale Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday to review a final site plan for a new Culver’s restaurant. The proposed 4,703-square-foot building would be located near Meijer at 3741 West Carleton Rd.
The project marks a significant step in the city’s recent commercial growth. Hillsdale has seen increased interest from national retailers lately as the community works to expand its local shopping and dining options.
Known for its “ButterBurgers” and fresh frozen custard, Culver’s operates over 900 locations across the U.S.
The Planning Commission meeting is open to the public. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers at 97 N. Broad St. If the board grants final approval, the restaurant could begin construction later this year.
