The city of Jonesville has introduced a new, improved website.
Officials say the improvements are aimed at better serving residents. The updated site features a fresh look with the “Real Deal” logo and a simplified menu for easy access to key services. Important information, like public notices and an event calendar, is now more prominent.
City officials say the website is designed to be mobile-friendly, making it easy to use on phones and tablets.
The new address is jonesvillemi.gov, and all city email addresses now end with @jonesvillemi.gov. This new email domain adds extra security and helps the city stand out in online searches.
Popular features, including online bill paying, checking trash and recycling pickup schedules, and applying for permits, have been transferred to the new site.
Bookmarks and favorites that pointed to the old website or email addresses will automatically redirect to the new ones.
However, users are encouraged to update their browsers and contact lists over time to keep everything working smoothly.
